What A Wonderful World
” I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom for me and you. And I think to myself…what a wonderful world.” –Louis Armstrong song first released in 1967
Sometimes we just have to step back and enjoy the simple beauty that surrounds us everyday. This is especially important in this day and age when it’s so easy to get dragged down into the rabbit hole of fear, negativity and uncertainty.
Sit back and give yourself a 2 minute break and her the great “Satchmo” sing a song that we need to hear in our current time. It’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Louis Armstrong – What a wonderful world ( 1967 )
Interestingly enough, this song was an immediate hit in the U.K. when first released in 1967. It didn’t hit the charts in the U.S until 1988 ( sadly after Armstong’s death) after it was played in the movie, Good Morning Vietnam.
