Finally, some real promising news on the covid front. Pfizer announced today that the early results from its coronavirus vaccine trials have proven to be more than 90% effective. It’s anticipating manufacturing enough doses to immunize 15-20 million people by the end of the year. This is better than even what they thought best case might be. This is also great news for a local company, Moderna. Moderna uses a similar technology to Pfizer and they’re expected to release interim results this month on its covid vaccine trial. Yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel to all this craziness we have been living through for the last 8 months.
